Analysis on energy saving calculation of exhaust air heat recovery
Zhang Ye, Liu Ye and Zhang Xiaoliang
In the techno-economic analysis of exhaust air heat recovery systems, if the heat exchange between the outdoor air and exhaust air is directly used to calculate energy saving quantity without considering the influence of cooling/heating load and air handling process, there will be a large deviation on calculated value of heat savings in winter. By the analysis of a simulation case, points out the improved calculation method. Proposes that actual reduced heat consumption should be hourly calculated before and after setting heat recovery device, where the air handling process should be considered according to the different air conditioning systems. The energy saving effect of the heat recovery device should be analysed based on the actual amount of heat savings.
